A very beautiful village and a great starting point or destination for mountain bike or road bike tours. The ascent by road bike is along the main road – steep and long. There's a campsite and others in the area, and of course, small hotels or guesthouses – Swiss hospitality! You'll meet many enduro mountain bikers here. I also have a lot of fun here with my downhill trail!

Smooth asphalt road going downhill. No passing cars, but be careful and ride your bike to the side. You will pass by different vineyards and private houses.

Uniform and wide gravel road. Not suitable for road bikes. The climb is also quite gentle.

Mercier Castle, originally called Pradegg Castle, stands magnificently and sophisticatedly on a hill in the town of Sierre (French: Sierre). For half a century, the castle served mainly as a summer residence for the Mercier family until its donation to the canton of Valais in 1991. Since then, as required by the conditions of the donation, the castle and the adjoining park are mainly used for public, cultural and artistic purposes.

Not too steep at first with asphalt, then steeper on unpaved roads, but without traffic!

A cafe with a great atmosphere near the river. It will be open again in mid-March. Prices are average. More information on the menu can be found here: lhohoho.ch

The bike ride around the lake is very pleasant, there is a path and you can enjoy the view of the lake itself, the forest and the surrounding mountains. Entrance is free and you can also swim in the lake.
