It is considered one of the most beautiful villages in the region. It currently has 350 inhabitants. Its old town has been considered a good of cultural interest since 1982. All points of interest are centered around the square: the Church of the Purification, the Sanctuary of the Virgen del Cid, the Town Hall (with towers from the Templar era), the Portal of San Pablo, the house of Blinque, and the Matutano-Daudén palace. I recommend going to the tourist office and asking for the map with the basic route. It can be covered in 30 minutes to 2 hours. If you want more, the guided tour opens the doors of the buildings. Being at an altitude of 1,300m, it is easy to visit in summer. In winter, it is cold and access to these high parts of the Maestrazgo can be difficult.

Mirambel is a village integrated into the network of The Beautiful Villages of Spain. Currently, 110 residents officially live there. Beautiful village, extremely well-maintained (received the Europa Nostra Gold Medal in 1981 for its restoration efforts). Completely walled, some parts still visible. Enter through the portal of the Nuns to see the plaster latticework and wooden decorations. Points of interest: Mirambel Church, Casa Aliaga, Casa Castellot, Easy access with parking for cars at the entrance of the village from where you can start the visit to the village or the nearby PR route. It has a small supermarket in the very center where you can find local food and water. Restrictive opening hours (come equipped or check beforehand).
