Caution! Approaching Irumugarrieta Peak from the south, you have to climb a serious, vertical wall. Unfortunately, with a dog, we had to give up here and fought our way down cross-country through the undergrowth. The other way around, it probably won't work with a dog even without abseiling. The tour is still very beautiful, but I wouldn't do the special descent again.

This riverside park is very well maintained. It has good access, swings in good condition, and a drinking fountain. Next to it is the skate park area. It covers a total area of 2,094 square meters and is composed of three platforms that make up the "street" area, and a fourth where the pool is located. The transition between platforms is achieved through skate park elements such as ramps, stairs, curbs, rails, planters, etc., which, due to their location and size, create different skating lines.

The Bidasoa reaches the Cantabrian Sea at Txingudi bay next to Cape Higuer between Hendaye and Hondarribia, forming the Chingudi wetlands that include Jaizubia floodplains, Plaiundi. The Bidasoa islands and Fiasan (Pheasant) Island. After Urdaibai in Bizkaia, this area is the second largest maritime wetland in the Basque Country. In 1988 Plaiaundi Environmental Park was created within the wetlands, an excellent example of how to restore a dried up degraded wetland to its original state.
