La Marina d'Empurabrava is a holiday town that extends about 23 km. of navigable channels with 5,000 moorings, of which 700 are for boats up to 25 meters in length. In short, a port of great capacity, equipped with high-level equipment as befits the largest residential marina in Europe. Located between the Aiguamolls of Empordá and Puerto de Rosas, in the heart of this bay just 3 miles from the Cap de Creus Natural Park, the entrance is between the Muga and Salins rivers and should not be confused with the Santa Margarida mouth. just 1.5 miles NE. Access to the marina is through a long channel 55 meters wide and dredged 3 meters deep. In total there are 23 kilometers of navigable channels that can be explored in smaller boats such as kayaks. Residential complexes are built along these canals. Marina d'Empuriabrava is an excellent refuge for those boats that sail through the area when the Tramuntana blows. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tiRHkByDKfs

Wide sandy beach with a children's playground, volleyball nets and restaurants on a promenade by the sea. The bad thing is that after seeing San Comas beach just before this it's like comparing white with black. Also very touristy and with huge hotels that if I was afraid they would be torn down.

Also known as the wild beach, since it has been preserved from urban exploitation. It is a long beach of fine sand surrounded by dunes and lagoon systems typical of marsh areas.

The bike path along the Rio Grande is practically the finest gravel! Super laid out and nice to drive. The section runs along the shore for approx. 3.5 to 4.0 km.
