A quality stretch of running on a good scenic bridleway that cuts the golf course in half. An area however where you should keep your wits about you with the golf going on in case you get a bad headache!

When you visit All Saintsโ€™ Church it is hard to think that you are in Milton Keynes at all. This tiny oasis of rurality feels a million miles from the roundabouts, steel and glass of the new town. A truly beautiful location.

The Grand Union canal runs from Birmingham to London, a distance of 137 miles long and has 166 locks. The canal was built at the end of the 18th and beginning of the 19th centuries, providing a more direct route between the two cities. This is a beautiful pristine woodland and a prime time mountain biking area with a multitude of trails. If you are in the habit of running with your music on be wary of the bikers.

Wavendon Wood is a mixture of beautiful conifer woodland with some areas of semi-ancient woodland and heathland and it is just outside Milton Keynes. The woodland also contains Danesborough Iron Age Hill Fort. It is a beautiful tranquil place to come for your hike or run.
