This structure, present in Contrada Macchia, turned out to be a building of absolute beauty built in 1889-1891 to allow the tracks that connected Gioia del Colle to Rocchetta Sant'Antonio to also cross the Murgia. Since 2011, however, this viaduct has been abandoned, which is why today, after 9 years, it has transformed into a place to go to admire the imposing stone structure that now stands alone and surrounded by nature.
