Great stop for a flat white 😎

The path along this section of the river Frome between Tellisford Mill and Langham Farm where you join a track to Rode is a lovely run. The grassy field is a nice surface, but it does get a bit wet in the winter. The weir is a popular swimming spot but gets very busy in the summer and you aren't allowed to swim here as the weir gets damaged and affects the working of the mill.

Southwick Parkrun is a fun and free volunteer run weekly run/race. It starts at 9:00 every Saturday. Southwick is a 2.5 lap course of the country park. It's a gravelly trail with a bit of up and down but it's quite fast. Bit puddly in the winter.

An oasis of green on the edge of the town of Trowbridge, Southwick Country Park is a nature reserve and home to a wide variety of wildlife, including rare reptiles such as adders, grass snakes and slow worms, alongside diverse wetland, woodland and grassland habitats. With a mix of surfaced paths, good for year-round and buggy/wheelchair use, and adventurous off-road trails, which do get muddy in winter, there's a walk to suit everyone. The Hope Nature Centre on site has goats, ponies and other animals - great for children - and there's parkrun on a Saturday morning, too.

Friendly cafe in a nice place, plenty of indoor seating. Simple menu but good value. Parking outside. The Southwick Parkrun finish the weekly run here but it's equally good if you're running at any other time.
