Lovely view from the high ground on top of Coveney ridge across the fen to the cathedral rising from the Isle of Ely.

Best on a frosty morning when the silhouette of the cathedral rises out of the mist.

Nice gravel section to start giving onto pretty country byway that circuits Wardy Hill. Option to cut onto Trod Byway to Witcham at the halfway mark.

Great little campsite quite close to the main road but decent facilities (including a bar!). Tents get their own little field.

The large village of Littleport is a lovely spot just to the north of the city of Ely in the Cambridgeshire Fens. A wealth of picturesque and incredibly flat trails explore the surrounding countryside, following the River Great Ouse and the many drainage channels that cut across the land. Accommodation can be found at the Swan on the River, while there are a few places to eat and drink in the village centre.
