This bridge is located along the Gloucester and Sharpness Canal and connects the Purton area to the wider canal system. It is a swing bridge with a control room operated by a keeper to manage its movements. Berkeley Castle is located very closely to Dr. Jenner's Museum and St. Mary the Virgin Church in Berkeley. Very lovely place to visit with an adult ticket at the cost of £16 per person.
