Nice cafe at pottery factory shop. Plenty of tables outside.

Currently there is also a special exhibition on the (more native to Birmingham) topic "Peaky Blinders". Above all, you can see the original costumes from the series.

A great look into the history of potteries in the area: interesting because you understand how mass production began, but also because the exhibition provides an unvarnished look at working conditions in the 19th century. Child labor, disease, poverty. But everything is balanced and never with a finger raised. Highly Recommended. Children also have the opportunity to make pottery themselves under good guidance!

These former fountains are no longer working but have been retained as a historical feature of Queens Park. The four fountains are situated at the base of the clock tower. The clock tower in Queen's Park, was renovated to mark the centenary of the opening of the park. It was unveiled by the mayor Alan Edwards on 24th July 1988. The ornate stone clock tower has four clock faces and a weathervane on the dome. There are four fountains with lion heads at the base of the structure. There are memorial plaques located on three sides of the tower with a door on the fourth side. Source: waymarking.com

I think this has been removed now. I couldn't see it today. Very sad 😟 It is still a nice spot to sit for the viewpoint but unfortunately you may have to rough it on the sandstone.
