Great test on the bike but can be busy with traffic. A good road surface means it’s also fun to descend!

Love this climb. It twists and turns like a twisty-turny thing.

Very cyclist friendly with a bike rack, track pump and a few tools. They show some bike races occasionally! Open Thurs & Fri 12-2pm, Sat 8:30am-2pm and Sun 9am-2pm. Midweek it sells food like toasties, focaccia and bagels. At weekend it also has pastries and bread from Salt bakehouse, and other baked goods from local baker. Coffee from Noni's roastery. Seating inside, and outside in good weather. Also dog and child friendly.

A typical Cotswold mixed beech wood on the hill below Haresfield Beacon. The trails are brilliant fun to run, fast downhill and tough uphill. The Cotswold Way long distance trail goes through the woodland.
