Always a good view from a bridge down to a motorway - and the feeling to be safe from the fast traffic down there.

Great pit stop for coffee and cake. No indoor seating but plenty of outdoor seating round the back and covered seating with blankets and heaters round the front. Cake is TASTY!

Colston Bassett Stilton is one of the finest traditional Stilton cheeses. It's produced here by the Colston Bassett Dairy, dating as far back as 1913. The diary has a shop where you can buy the cheese direct - it's known for its rich, creamy texture and well-balanced blue veining.

Great trail through the woods - magnificent pine trees! Looks like it could get a bit muddy in places if there's been a lot of rain 🌧️ - Great in the dry though! This is a good link as you move on to Laming Gap Lane and then join the bridleway to get you safely over the A46 and journey on to the villages of Kinoulton, Hickling and beyond...πŸš΄πŸ‘
