A very interesting shelter in the center of Bachanów - a great starting point for a hike along Czarna Hańcza (there is also a parking space here, so even better). You will also find useful information about the most interesting places in the Suwałki Landscape Park, and a series of signs for several trails right next to it invites you to set off somewhere right away.

A great and tall observation tower allowing you to enjoy the magnificent views over Czarna Hańcza, including the Głazowisko Reserve on the other side of the river. So stretch your legs and climb up.

A beautiful bridge with beautiful views of Czarna Hańcza (here spreading out more widely), right next to the historic mill in Turtul. A popular place for many to relax and admire nature.

A stunning view (from above) of Lake Kolje (and you can also see Lake Perty if you look hard enough). Lake Kolje is surrounded by beautiful forests and the view here is like something from a postcard (although I don't know who sends postcards anymore!).

From this road between these two lakes there are wonderful views of both. A wonderful, picturesque place, with a beautiful contrast (especially in summer) of the green of the trees and fields with the blue of the lakes.

Great view from this viewpoint, right next to the main path. "Oz" is not the Wizard of Oz... but a hill formed by the deposition of sand and gravel. Great views of the area after climbing a few steps here.

A viewpoint in the Smolniki area, from which we can see Lake Jaczno. There are steps leading to the viewpoint.

Generally, dogs are welcome on trails in Polish landscape parks, provided they are kept on a leash. It's always a good idea to check local signage or the park's official website for any specific restrictions or protected areas where dogs might not be permitted.
The park offers several stunning viewpoints. Góra Cisowa, often called 'the Fuji of Suwalszczyzna,' provides panoramic views across the park. Other notable spots include the viewpoint 'U Pana Tadeusza' in Smolniki and the 'Na Ozie' viewpoint, also in Smolniki, both offering vistas of Lake Jaczno. The park is a natural geomorphological museum. You can explore Poland's deepest lake, Hańcza Lake, known for its crystal-clear waters.
