For all fitness levels, experience with the bike is required if you are riding on wet/damp terrain as the bike may skid, you may need to push the bike in some sections.

Castellblanch is a company dedicated to the production of cava. It has its wineries in San Sadurní de Noya. Since 1984 it has belonged to the Freixenet group. The Castellblanch winery building is included in the Inventory of Architectural Heritage of Catalonia. It is a two-storey building from the beginning of the 20th century located on the outskirts of the town centre. Before entering the premises you have to pass through a small garden. The history of the Gramona winery began in 1850 with Josep Batlle, a winemaker and farmer who worked for the family that owned La Plana. During the phylloxera period that devastated the vineyards in France, his son Pau Batlle worked selling wine to the French who produced sparkling wines. They knew Catalonia well, since at that time it was the first supplier of corks. With Xarel·lo as a base, he learned to refine his wines for that purpose. In 1881 he created the El Celler Batlle winery and bought the vineyards where his father had worked. His daughter Pilar married Bartolomé Gramona, son of the then president of the Barcelona Tavern Guild and founder of Vid Catalana. This marriage meant the union of two wine sagas that at the beginning of the 20th century began with the Gramona brand in the world of sparkling wine. In 1945, the generation of effort began, led by Bartomeu and Josep Lluís, visionaries and pioneers in the production of long-aged sparkling wines in the Penedès. In 1951, the first Gramona III Lustros was released, with a vocation for long aging, which was not marketed until 10 years later. In 2021, the first century of the Gramona Family as sparkling wine producers and their 140th anniversary as winegrowers were celebrated. The history of their wine explains the personality of the generations led by Jaume and Xavier Gramona and their children, working on the slow and conscious generational change. Gramona is part of CORPINNAT, a Collective Brand of the European Union created with the aim of distinguishing the great sparkling wines produced in the heart of the Penedès, from 100% organic grapes harvested by hand and vinified entirely on the property.

Cavas Pere Ventura was founded in 1992 as the headquarters of Pere Ventura Family Wine Estates. Pere Ventura is the founder of the cava cellars that bear his name in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia (Barcelona), dedicated to the production of sparkling wines under the auspices of the DO CAVA. It is one of the most select companies in the sector, synonymous with elegance, style and exclusivity. The Pere Ventura brand is different, original and unique and offers an inimitable image, which speaks for itself about the product and the values that inspire it: quality, elegance, distinction and exclusivity.

A giant chair that stands on the hill of Malgranada in Torrelavit. From here you can enjoy a 360 degree view of the Penedès landscape.

Documented for the first time in 962, it was listed as a monastic house dependent on the Ripoll monastery and since the 12th century it had housed a community of Benedictines. Practically nothing remains of the primitive Romanesque church, since in 1541 a mob of Frenchmen burned down the town, leaving the monastic house and the church collapsed. The church was rebuilt in 1567, becoming the property of the Barcelona Cathedral. In the following years he carried out various renovations, including the addition of an altarpiece by the Milanese painter Joan Baptista Toscano and various images by the Catalan baroque artist Agustí Pujol. In successive centuries the church was expanded and in the 1950s, after the damage suffered during the civil war, the sgraffito exterior that can be seen today was painted.
