The church is located next to the Socovos Castle. It is on one floor and its ceiling has a wooden coffered ceiling of great merit. Above the main door, there is a large window. Above this, under a pediment with the anagram of Jesus Christ, the Cross of the Order of Santiago is carved, along with two pilgrim shells and the date 1590. In the past, the church had an organ similar to that of the Church of Liétor, but unfortunately it was destroyed during the Spanish Civil War.

Socovos Castle, also known as Encomienda Castle, is a historical jewel that stands in the Sierra de Moratalla. It is located on the outskirts of the current town of Socovos, on a rock that overlooks the old town and next to the Old Church. Inside, the remains of the church, the keep, the cistern to collect rainwater and even a dungeon are preserved. Originally, the population was located on this elevation, but after the border danger receded, it moved to the valley.

But it is undoubtedly the heritage of the Andalusian legacy that has brought beauty and personality to the peculiar urban structure of Letur, crossed by irrigation ditches and a multitude of walkways. The good conservation of the town, one of the jewels of Castilla La Mancha, led to Letur being declared a Historic Artistic Site in 1983. To enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the town there are several short and easy trails. Hiking fans can access the Segura Canyon via the Regalí Trail. It is essential to experience the LeturAlma festival promoted by the singer Rozalén. It is located on a hill over several fertile valleys with several viewpoints with impressive views. Its excellent location made it possible for it to have been populated since the Paleolithic, as witnessed by its manifestations of Levantine Rock Art – a World Heritage Site – or the Iberian sites of Macalón, La Muela or Los Castillicos.

Water source that joins the Letur stream and is located on the circular route of the Los Cantalares path. It is a magical place, surrounded by exuberant nature and can also be used as a swimming area. The water is crystal clear and cold. The Camino de los Cantalares is a circular stone path with picturesque water sources, such as Charco Pataco, caves and grottoes, such as Frescor, unique trees, etc. The quickest way to get to Charco Pataco is from Puerta del Sol, half an hour to go down and half an hour to go up on the same side. If we go around the trail completely it is approximately 2 hours. To do the complete route, it can be accessed from Llanico Perales Street or from Puerta del Sol Street, since it is circular. It is a narrow stone path and can only be done on foot given the difficulty of the path.
