The Casa de neu d'en Galileu is a historic snow hut in the Serra de Tramuntana near Puig Major. In the massive stone walls, collected snow was once stored and processed into ice. Today, the well-preserved remains are an impressive testament to Mallorca's traditional mountain economy.

I unfortunately have to correct Klaus. The GR 221 - Ruta de Pedra en Sec does not run along this path, but the GR 222 - Ruta Artà - Lluc does. Apart from that, Klaus is of course right that the old Camí Vell de Lluc from Caimari to the Lluc monastery is very beautiful to hike.

Here begins the final stage Caimari - Lluc (Stage 5.2) of the GR 222 from Artà to Lluc. It leads over the Camí Vell de Lluc to the Lluc monastery.
