Caution! Following a Komoot route, we deviated from the popular path and zigzagged toward this hut on the Canal de Isabel II. I don't recommend doing so if you want to reach the Hervidero waterfall! You have to go left before the previous bend, next to a barrier, whose path takes you straight to the waterfall. It required us to walk more than an extra kilometer, uphill and in full sun. A somewhat difficult stretch. Also, to descend to the Hervidero waterfall from that route, you have to cross a rather complicated, very vertical section with no path, with lots of loose rocks and vegetation, until you reach the stone staircase that leads to the waterfall. If we had followed the "normal" path, it would have been much easier, faster, and without passing through a somewhat dangerous area.
