Nybodarna is an old mountain pasture with only a few remaining buildings. Settlement dates back to 1740. Today, most of the buildings are ruins. Two farmsteads are currently used as holiday homes. An older bridge crosses the Galån River.

The school cottage in Arådalen is a replica of the Sami school cottage in Glen, which burned down in 1920. The cottage was reopened in 2018 and is open to the public (free of charge). An information board provides information about the history of the school cottage.

This is a nice place to listen to the babbling of the stream and enjoy the view across the river. Some hikers have already carved out a small path there, off the main path.

Nice little windbreak along the path. The huge pine tree that stands right next to the hiking trail is impressive.

There are wonderful views from the Hundstag summit! The climb is incredibly easy. However, there is almost always a cold breeze - and summit fog is common.
