At this point there are wonderful views of the flow of the Tera river before it merges with the Sanabria lake. An extraordinary lake of glacial origin that is the largest in Spain.

Given its isolated location, inside the region, it offers visitors spectacular 360-degree views of much of Sanabria, Carballeda and even Portugal (if possible, bring binoculars). From this point we can contemplate magnificent views of the lower Cabrera, the Historic Complex of Puebla de Sanabria and, above all, an impressive panoramic view of Lake Sanabria from a perspective rarely seen. It is curious to observe how the towns connected by the water arteries that are the rivers protected by the gallery forests and fed by the peaks emerge from the sea of vegetation. It is also curious to contemplate how the lake rests serenely on its bed, reflecting everything around it as if it were a mirror. Source: https://www.turismosanabria.es/alto_san_juan.html

A magical corner that we find when we walk the picturesque traditional path Pedrazales - Playa de los Enanos. There is a wooden bridge to cross the Forcadura stream and it gives us a beautiful picture.
