Komoot actually led me to the parallel main road. I wouldn't take it, the road is too big. The bike path, on the other hand, is great. However, it is very steep, which is why you get very fast downhill and reach speeds for which the path is quite narrow, curvy, and partially difficult to see, which is why I found the path a bit dangerous but extremely fun.

A great cycle path with good asphalt. Good alternative to the main road.

The most beautiful swimming lake I have seen so far around Gothenburg. In the forest, by a great lake with a diving tower. Free entry, as at all bathing spots.

A good spot to stop for supplies and a bit of culture while hiking Gotalenden. Plenty of options for food and drink, and don't miss the excellent Industrial History museum.

The town was originally built around Nääs Fabriker, a cotton, wool, and weaving factory established in 1833. The factory closed in 1982, but the town remains one of Sweden's best-preserved industrial settlements.

It is a building stone, or a prehistoric gravestone

Aspenäs Manor is a great place to take a break on your hike. You can grab a bite to eat in the café, wander in the beautiful gardens, and admire the views over the lake. There's even a sauna. The Manor also offers accommodation.

Nice bathing area with jetties and picnic tables. If your technique is up to it there's an exciting-looking diving tower.
