This stone village church truly stands out. It's unusually sturdy and so ideally situated in the small village that it offers excellent views from all sides. There are plenty of great photo opportunities!

In addition to the checkerboard stone, a sundial and finishing-work stones are also attached to the church. The church was damaged several times by fire, including a lightning strike in 1743 and a fire in 1808, which completely gutted it; reconstruction work was completed in 1817.
