The Chozo de Aranguez free refuge is located at the foot of the north face of Peñalara, on its Segovian side. This small cabin allows a refuge in case of need, being very well maintained despite its accessible location. The Aranguez free refuge is a small stone house that we reached after a beautiful walk through the forest. Its location allows you to have a wonderful view of the northern slope of the Peñalara massif, as it is right at your feet.
