Who would have thought it? A gem of a cycle path right in the middle of the national park, and right in the middle of it all, a "Hostinec" (restaurant). Highly recommended.

The current appearance of the three-aisled Baroque church with its square tower, whose façade is decorated with statues of St. Wenceslas and St. Blazei, was only achieved through reconstruction in the second half of the 19th century. The original parish church of St. Wenceslas was probably located in a completely different location, unknown to historians. The first written mention of the church dates back to 1368, which, however, does not reveal anything fundamental, even though it represents a turning point. The earlier Gothic church was unfortunately destroyed by fire in 1749. Reconstruction began in 1751, but the church was not returned to its original purpose until 1878. In 1927, the Chapel of Our Lady of Help, dating from 1726, was moved from across the street to the church. In 1939, the Chapel of St. Anne, dating from 1730 and originally located on Anenské Street, was built into the north wall of the church. See: https://www.idecin.cz/de/kirchen

The road between Jetrichovice and Rynartice has good asphalt. Coming from Jetrichovice, it climbs steeply in places, with a gradient of more than 14%.

Road between Hrensko and Vysoka Lipa, steadily uphill from the Elbe. Road with minor damage, but generally good driving.

Aside from the usual Czech market stalls, this is a nice little town with very affordable food and drink. Ferry crossing included with public transport/Germany tickets!
