Sas is a village in the municipality of Sarroca de Bellera, in the Pallars Jussà region. The site of Sas has been documented since 887, when it is mentioned in a document from the monastery of Santa Maria de Lavaix, and is documented again in 986 and 1024. These documents speak of the place and the castle of Sas. There are no remains of the castle. In 1994 it had only one resident, but in 2005 it had 4 again. The "Font de Cantoria" spring is somewhat hidden, but right in town, but there is also a drinking water point in the middle of town.

Wild bathing on the Noguera Pallaresa river beach on the outskirts of the municipality of La Pobla de Segur. Great place to cool off after a nice hike in the surrounding mountains.
