My enthusiasm is limited. The road is relatively narrow with not much space for cyclists and busy (about one car per minute), without radar I found it annoying.

The detour is well worth it! The view of the monastery, but also in the other direction, is fantastic.

Next to the Xanascat hostel in Deltebre and on the side of the T-340 road, there is this fresh water fountain that is perfect for hydrating and making a logistical stop. There is also shade and a place to sit.

The tunnel to the scenic beach is very dark and damp. There was a large puddle in the middle of the tunnel.
