In addition to the legendary hustle and bustle, the approximately six-kilometer-long, fine sandy beach also offers plenty of space for relaxing and countless water sports opportunities. The beach of Can Pastilla is located in the south of Mallorca, directly at the northern end of the popular Playa de Palma, and impresses with fine, light sand and shallow water. Thanks to the lively promenade and the proximity to the airport, there is always something going on here, and with the capital Palma within walking distance and various water sports opportunities, there is plenty of variety. Despite the good infrastructure and the bustling activity, this section is a bit more relaxed than the famous party area around Ballermann.

The coastal cycle path between Palma and S'Arenal stretches for around 17 kilometers, almost entirely along the sparkling Mediterranean Sea. Thanks to the excellent development, you can cycle here in a relaxed manner and without significant climbs, heading directly towards the imposing Palma Cathedral. Especially during the main season, however, the path can be quite busy, meaning you have to share the asphalt with many pedestrians and other cyclists.

The charming Portitxol marina is just a stone's throw from Palma's old town and offers around 280 berths for smaller sports boats and sailboats. Formerly a tranquil fishing village, the area has transformed into a hip neighborhood with cool bars, cafes, and great restaurants. Today, you can stroll leisurely along the palatial bay, enjoy the relaxed Mediterranean life, and be in the middle of the action in no time.

The Sa Llotja in Palma is an architectural masterpiece of Gothic style and served as a historic maritime stock exchange in the 15th century. Today, the impressive building with its distinctive columns and towers regularly hosts changing art exhibitions. Life pulsates around the structure in the narrow alleys, as the district is known for its numerous great restaurants and bars.

The cycle path is not wide enough, dangerous due to oncoming traffic and pedestrians who simply cross without looking. I have already seen several serious falls, and on top of that, the surface is extremely slippery in many places when wet!

If you go down the stairs all the way, you can go around the corner to the right over the rocks. There, the view opens up over the Ballermann to the city center of Palma. The water is crystal clear, but the view is especially top! :-)
