Wonderful little town, which radiates a special charm.

The old town is huge. It's best to take a ride with the Petit Train Touristique (green train for tours) and later walk to where you like it best. Also from "little Venice" you can take a 25-minute boat trip, no not with the "gondola" but with a quiet electric drive.

The market hall is also located here, and a visit to it is an absolute must.

Since the mid-18th century, part of this square in the southwest of the city had been a public promenade. In 1793, the city transformed this area into a military training ground and festival site, renamed the Champ de Mars. In the 19th century, this amusement park took on its present form, with its wide paths designed to resemble the Cross of the Legion of Honor. In 1856, Auguste Bartholdi erected a statue of General Rapp on the northern square, which was henceforth named after the Colmar hero. In 1864, he then erected the Admiral Bruat fountain in the center of the park.
