The " second part " of the trail is pretty hard! Tried it on my Hard-tail XC bike and to me it felt quite overwhelming. In my opinion you need either more suspension or more skills... Or both...😅. The other sections are great! Recommended!

The Ulm downhill was definitely too difficult for me. I've been riding for the second year now, and the narrow sections, roots, and technical details were too much for me. The S1 designation definitely needs to be corrected. A bike instructor friend of mine who used to participate in official downhill races simply said: the trail is quite technical, and I only ride it with fairly advanced students.

Fantastic view of Bern and the surrounding area and a panorama of the Alps from Central Switzerland over the Bernese Oberland with Eiger, Mönch, Jugfrau, etc. to the Fribourg Alps and the Jura.

At the tip of a loop of the Aare, this road is the perfect place to stop and admire the old centre of Bern with a bit of perspective.
