The castle ruins are quite large. Of the important 13th-century castle, only the advanced structures remain today. The keep itself had already been destroyed in the 15th century.

The American monument on Hill 204 near Château-Thierry is a monument commemorating the sacrifices and exploits of the Americans and the French during the First World War, in particular the Aisne-Marne and Oise-Aisne offensives in 1918.
