The Adrien Barthélémy botanical and thermal park is a private property belonging to the Chaîne Thermale du Soleil. Over the centuries, most of the trees and flowers were planted taking into account the mild and sedative microclimate of the temperature of the peat cellars heated by the Thermal Waters. The PINK LOTUS, which blooms in this surprising garden from the end of June, arrived in Barbotan in the 19th century, thanks to a certain Mrs. BOGUN, wife of a rich Emir from the United Arab Emirates, who during her many trips to Asia brought back lotus seeds because Barbotan was a place she liked very much.

The church was built at the beginning of the millennium on the remains of a Roman temple and is the only one still in use. Worship has been celebrated here, without interruption from the Middle Ages to the present day. It is the most beautiful, best-preserved medieval church in the municipality. It was restored in the 1990s. Thus, the church of St Pierre de Barbotan was built at great expense for the time: the entire building rests on stilts and bundles of wood, because at that time, the surroundings were nothing but marshland.

Cazaubon dates back to the Gallo-Roman era. Just over the other side of the Lac de l'Uby is a Spa town/area. There are public toilets and water access at the church in the center of Cazaubon.
