For a long time, the little fairies rose twice a day to quench their thirst and moisten their thin faces in the water of this well. At the entrance to the Petite Fosse, at the Plomb des Fier, the cave sheltered them at night. A little dry grass served as a diaper. In the first chill, they dressed in sheepskins... They romped, picking berries, strawberries, and hazelnuts... And then... And then one day, men crossed their paths: rough men armed with clubs. The little fairies fled, leaving their forest and their well... And since those distant times, the water that falls into the pools mourns their flight...

A very interesting château. Admission is €10. If you also visit the gorge, it's only €8. The owner has collected souvenirs and curiosities from all over the world. Therefore, inside you can admire porcelain, weapons, and works of art from Europe, Africa, China, Japan, and more.

Getting here early helps. Crossing the gorge without many people is nicer!
