Beautiful cycle path, mostly shaded, unpaved but rideable (I ride it with 23mm tires), which follows the old line of the Chemin de Fer de l'Est Lyonnais (CFEL)

A heat to die between the trees rather reserve the VTC VTT but it is better than the road and there is the campsite of the 3 lakes 15 € per night with electricity and access to the swimming pool and to the well shaded lakes

Not very practicable on a road bike, rather reserved for hybrid bikes or mountain bikes....

Former east Lyonnais railway converted into a greenway, away from the road. It is a superb greenway at the bottom of a small gorge then in the woods. It is freshly fitted out, in tar or fine gravel. She goes to Arandon. It's a great trip, I recommend.
