Coming all the way from Corps, the col du Parquetout is a long and steady ascent through beautiful landscapes and small villages. I took one of the most amazing gravel path I found that day through the forest and almost to the top of the col.

Steep last bends from the pass on a very grassy track, it's for the strong. But the reward: What a 360° panorama at the top!

Tough climb with percentages often around and above 10%. Advantage: Hardly any traffic Disadvantage: The view on this climb is not so open and spectacular.

Col can be VERY steep, especially from Entraigues. On the other side it is more lenient and accessible.
