Tips from the Community

Me Li 🇨🇭
June 26, 2026, Reuss Foot and Cycle Bridge near Mellingen

I also recommend this footbridge for a hassle-free crossing of the Reuss. It is gladly used by hikers as well as cyclists and joggers. Very beautiful view from the footbridge onto the Reuss and good connection to the many trails nearby. I particularly like the trail along the Reuss downstream on the right bank.

A popular spot with waves and curves – for young and old. Located under the motorway, so it's mostly covered.

A good idea: a facility under the motorway, mostly protected from the rain, for young and old.

These are the Dättwiller Weiher. These two ponds are located next to the road between Baden and Dättwil.

The Sommergarten restaurant also has a garden restaurant. If you like grilled Balkan specialties, this is a great place. Cevapcici and pljeskavica are made in Neuenhof by the owner's brother. Fresh grilled lamb is also available, which is very popular. Homemade cakes and salads are also available. Enjoy!
