The Vimport Bridge spans the Adour River south of the Greater Dax urban community. A new parking lot has just been built, providing a starting point for a walk or bike ride along the towpath along the banks of the Adour, or towards the Barthes de Rivière. A new section of cycle path is currently being developed, linking Dax train station to Vimport. It will become the new route for the EuroVélo3 route towards Bayonne or the Pyrenees.

Below the Adour, in the south of the Landes department, lies Chalosse. A hilly region, very different from the rest of the department, whose soil is no longer sandy but clayey, much more suited to gravel and mountain biking😍
