Trail appears to run along the tarmac cycleway on the map near the start, but it does not, it runs separately alongside. The VTT route crosses the cycleway now & then but does not run along it more than a few meters.

Roman Catholic church from the 10th century and a neo-Gothic bell tower built in 1870. In the bell tower is a small bell dating from 1788 classified as historical objects since 1911 for having sounded the revolt in 1789. It is part of the deanery of Marennes-Oléron and of the pastoral sector of the Arvert peninsula. In the choir are deposited the baptismal font of the chapel of the village of Notre-Dame de Buse which disappeared under the sands during the 17th century; these baptismal fonts have also been classified as historical objects since January 24, 2013.
