the short path from Vernon to the titans has been closed by the Mairie ! arret prefectorial so you need to take the road

According to locals, the path is passable, and it was. It was worth it :-) Back at our hotel we received further information. The path was closed because it is partly private property and because there were a lot of hikers in the high season and they didn't behave well (garbage/leftovers)

It's not worth it. The most beautiful section on the outskirts of Vernon (the actual sentier des tétines) is closed by the municipality without giving any reason
