2026, the ruins are no longer accessible. A barrier really blocks the passage and many signs are present. Construction machines were in place, probably for a restoration...

Very difficult to cross without getting your feet wet, even when the flow is very low. The footbridge on the map no longer exists.

On the Saint-Maurice-de-Lignon side, in addition to access to the Gorges du Lignon footbridge, a belvedere awaits the bravest. With a 7-meter overhang above the gorges, the Belvédère du Lignon offers a magnificent view of the footbridge, but also of the river below.

By bike, dismount on the footbridge, it's a little swaying... but magnificent. We can make a loop and leave on the other side

Things are changing quickly, it is possible that it has been "beaten" since but at its inauguration in April 2022, the Himalayan footbridge of the Lignon gorges was the longest Himalayan footbridge in France. In any case, it is a magnificent and impressive footbridge 268m long overlooking the Lignon gorges.

The Château de Carry is a medieval castle of which only ruins remain today. It is located in the town of Grazac and became a historical monument in 1985. It is on private property, so access to it is prohibited to the public. However, as you approach the gates, you can admire the silhouettes of the ramparts and dungeons still standing in the distance.
