The Church of St. Laurentius was built in 1854 as a neo-Gothic quarry stone building. The hall building is covered with a gable roof, with a square church tower to the west and a polygonal apse resembling a choir to the east. Stepped gables were added to the east and west facades. The clocks on the church tower are arranged above the arcades in small gables around the recessed tower. A neo-Gothic chapel stands in the cemetery.[2][3] The façade of the three-axis nave was not further subdivided. On the east side, the blind gable of the nave is further emphasized by a cornice. The church is a listed building and is included in the register of monuments with the registration number 094 55177.[4] In 2019, a second bell was commissioned from Petit & Gebr. Edelbrock in Gescher, which was cast on July 25, 2019, and handed over on October 25, 2019. Installation took place on April 19, 2020, and the bell was consecrated on July 19, 2020.[5] Source: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Laurentius_(Trebitz)
