A worthwhile and quiet stretch. Very little traffic, good asphalt, and expansive views of the fields. A great ride!

The old train station in Preten is now a café. Unfortunately, the café is still closed in March. Opening hours from April to October are weekends and public holidays (Sat and Sun, 12 noon - 6 pm). The café belongs to the neighboring Seebürger sheep farm (https://schaeferei-seebuerger.de/), which also offers tours of its operations.

I was surprised by the small, cozy-looking ferry. The ferry was full with bikes, dog trailers and a group of cyclists.

Sand and gravel road, could also be ridden on a racing bike, should not be a problem with a gravel bike or MTB

The stretch from Belsch to Belsch Hufe Ost is not in the best condition, but is definitely rideable on a racing bike. Gravel shouldn't be a problem.
