Situated at the highest point of the village, the word "Puy" meaning "podium" (summit), Notre-Dame Church is located in the heart of the village, accessible from the vast town hall square. The 15th-century bell tower features a clock...

Beautiful feudal castle from the 14th century, remodeled in the 16th and 17th centuries. From the medieval period, the powerful square keep and part of the moat remain. The castle has a very beautiful appearance with a two-story main building flanked by an imposing square tower and a round tower, and a long adjacent wing itself topped by a round tower. The roofs are made of slate, flat tiles and wooden shingles. The castle has a very beautiful dovecote, a pond, a park, stables, a kennel, outbuildings and a large neighboring farm. It has been listed as a Historic Monument since 1971.

The field bridge is a particularly interesting place. Depending on the water levels dictated by the lake's dam, this place goes from totally flooded to sandy banks and, if left empty long enough... grass grows.

This dam was built in the 1930s and is not a towering feature like some dams, but the views from this shot of the lake it creates are stunning with islands and forests.
