Decent rest area, 2 picnic tables and a view of the nuclear power plant. On the way to Nevers, just before the rest area, there is a reception house, which may be nicer than the rest area.

a great city - after driving many kilometers past empty cities, there is something going on here in Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire in the evenings! No deserted streets, just events and people going out! We felt really comfortable!

The church wasn't that interesting inside. There is quite a lot that needs to be renovated.
