A dream circuit. Starting from Ville-sur-Auzon, 20 km of superb gorges, a little-used road and a moderate slope. The pleasure can be extended by continuing to Sault and taking on the least difficult climb of Mont Ventoux. Pure happiness...

The Notre-Dame d'Aubune chapel is a little gem steeped in history, nestled in a peaceful setting at the foot of the Dentelles de Montmirail. Its simple and elegant architecture, with its old stones and harmonious proportions, gives it an authentic character that has stood the test of time. The place exudes a special atmosphere, almost timeless, reinforced by the presence of the medieval garden and the archaeological remains nearby. It's so beautiful here that I get tears in my eyes every time. It's best to drive uphill, then you have more time to look around. On the other hand, the descent to Venasque is so long and beautiful, you rarely find it. Gentle curves, a great surface, and a consistently moderate gradient. I look forward to this section every time...
