Personally, I never take it, it's too annoying with panniers. I push a little further to the whitewater stadium where the crossing doesn't require getting off and pushing like a donkey.

Great tour 👍🏻☀️☀️ A short stroll through the city of Pau for visitors 😎 Lunch break at Les Halles with delicious pizzas for lunch 🍕 Then a quick visit to the media library 📚 Finally, we'll stop by the whitewater stadium 🌊. Recommended 👍🏻💪🏻 Hi!!

The bridge has been repaired and since its reopening there is a chaussidou to cross it. On occasion I will try to take a photo.

The mayor of Pau and President of the Community of Communes François Bayrou as well as the Prefect had admitted that this achievement was not satisfactory, that an access ramp was missing. Pau à Vélo presented a project that was perfectly feasible and compatible with the constraints of the location (taking into account the environment, flood risks, etc.). Nothing moves. Lamentable. As much as the layout of the Franqueville footbridge is absurd for soft transport, the whitewater stadium footbridge is adequate and gives an impression of the countryside in the city.
