Small, cozy village with a Romanesque church, drinking fountain but ... no catering facilities.

First stop on this tour: Villa Typhonium, a very strange Egyptian-style residence. In the film Ma Loute, it serves as an exterior setting for the Van Peteghem family who came to the coast on vacation. The indoor meal scenes were filmed at the Château d'Hardelot, in Condette. The house, located on the heights of the town, visible to all from the dike, hosted the Wissant school of painters from the end of the 19th century. It was also two founders of this school, fans of ancient Egypt, who had it built. It is today occupied by one of their descendants. The place is therefore not a museum open to the public, as reminded by the sign "private property, no entry" at the gate. I was lucky enough to meet the owner who allowed me to take the tour, something he usually refuses to other visitors, he told me. “But you cycled all the way here, so good.” The tourist office, however, told me that the owner opened the doors to his (huge) gardens and interiors during heritage days.

The Church of Saint-Pierre is located in Wimille in the department of Pas-de-Calais in the Hauts-de-France region. The church was built in the 12th century and the oldest inscription attesting to this is on a large stone slab from Honvault, forming the step of the floor of the church where the Chapel of the Virgin is located. Op de begraafplaats liggen de ballonvaarders Pilâtre de Rozier en Romain begraven.

The Church of Saint-Louis Roi is located in Pittefaux in the department of Pas-de-Calais in the Hauts-de-France region. The church dates from the 19th century, but the bell dates from 1767 and comes from the old Saint-Martin church
