A relatively short but extremely fun and beautiful section (around 700m) between the Carbonnière Tower and the Mas Cachemire, below the D46. In dry and not too busy weather it would be a shame to miss out on this narrow section which winds through the marshes and offers an original low-angle view of the Carbonnière Tower. Note that at this level, access to the path is via a footbridge and several steps and can be difficult with a loaded touring bike or an e-bike.

The rampart has been part of the oppidum since its inception and has undergone many modifications. The remains, still visible today, with the many bastions allow us to appreciate the monumental dimension that they were able to achieve.
