The chapel of Mougnac is a 12th century church which was ruined in 1563. It was not completely abandoned in 1621, since on September 5, the parish registers tell us that a baptism took place in the chapel otherwise known as the "Chapel of Monsieur Saint-Nicolas" located in the village of Mougnac, parish of Saint-Jean-de-la Pallud de La Couronne.
