A beautiful gorge where it stays relatively cool on hot days. The GR54 trails through the gorge are easily accessible. The water is easily accessible, although swimming is not recommended due to a dam upstream that opens periodically.

The end of the iconic climb and a good stop for a rest. Plenty of bars and shops to be had. Can recommend Cycle Huez (https://www.cyclehuez.com/) if you're looking for some decent-quality souvenir cycle kit or a t-shirt. A much nicer selction than what you'll find down in Bourg D'Oisans.
