An impressive viewpoint with a magnificent panorama over the Limmattal valley to Zurich. In clear visibility, the view extends far beyond the city to the imposing backdrop of the Alps on the horizon. The interplay between the densely populated valley, green landscapes, and the mountain ranges rising behind them is particularly beautiful.

Ideal for a Sunday outing, on foot or by bike. Right next to the tower, the café "backparadies.ch" can be recommended (it's open on Sundays). Very close to the tower, there is a large fountain to refill the (bike) water bottles ;).

I also recommend this footbridge for a hassle-free crossing of the Reuss. It is gladly used by hikers as well as cyclists and joggers. Very beautiful view from the footbridge onto the Reuss and good connection to the many trails nearby. I particularly like the trail along the Reuss downstream on the right bank.

With a mountain bike, the Rhine in the Südschwarzwald Nature Park is a wonderful companion on the tour. I found the combination of quiet riverbank, nature, and Black Forest landscape particularly pleasant. It's worth rolling a little slower here, letting your gaze wander over the Rhine, and taking in the relaxed atmosphere.
