The former Franciscan monastery currently houses a restaurant. The entrance to the former church is at the rear of the building. The Franciscan coat of arms can be seen above the door in the glass window.

Fontenoy-le-Château actually has many interesting old buildings, which unfortunately are mostly in a state of disrepair. The old church, however, is in a well-renovated condition.

At the beginning of September 2024, there was little to be seen of a lake. Water had been drained and there was mud and old logs everywhere.
